Guild Structure
H.N.I.C. - PretzelsHead of the Hyperion Council. The H.N.I.C. is responsible for guiding the guild forward in all aspects of its growth. The H.N.I.C. is responsible for ensuring the responsibilities delegated to the councilors are being performed properly and that all guild members are treated according to the guild rules. The H.N.I.C. will have a vote equal to any other Hyperion Council member; however the H.N.I.C. reserves the right to veto any council decision that threatens the guild. Hyperion Council (Councilor)Lead Raids, direct class recruitment, monitor performance and preparation, and other duties associated with Councilor status. Appointed and dismissed by the H.N.I.C. Castellan- SchmekleThe Castellan is responsible for coordinating with the Procurement Officer so that all items required for raids are in stock; monitoring members in raids for gear and item requirements; and ensuring that those members not in the raid are completing their assignments to receive appropriate guild EP. Recruitment Officer - BreadsticksThis Councilor is in charge of postings to solicit new recruits, interviewing potential recruits, advising the Hyperion Council about recruits, and ensuring that recruits become acclimated to the guild. The Councilor is in charge of assisting Trial Members throughout their evaluation period, and to be a point of reference for those interested in joining the guild. Procurement Officer - RhodalyriaMaintains the Guild Bank, monitors withdrawals, requests for raid items, puts items up for auction, etc. Is the primary contact through which items leave the Guild Bank. A record on the forums may also be kept if it is deemed necessary to monitor high value items. Involvement & Public Relations Officer - AtownThis Councilor works to promote other guild events outside of raiding; this can include anything that increases guild involvement such as Old Raids, PvP groups, Drunken Parties, etc. This Councilor works to promote the guild on our forums and externally to increase overall awareness of our success and achievements. Internally this councilor focuses on maintaining the forums and ensuring all guild information is accurate. Externally this councilor will work closely with the recruitment officer to attract new members and the H.N.I.C. to ensure an appropriate level of guild information is hitting the community. RaiderThe primary pool of players that are the most consistent in attendance, consumables, performance and conduct that will be used to form raids. Promoted from the ready reserves or reserves by agreement of the Hyperion Council. ReservesThe secondary pool of players used to form raids. Promoted from trials or social by the Hyperion Council. SocialNew members, friends, and family all fall into this category. There is no level or participation requirement forced on this group. This is the social level of evolved or those not ready to be considered on ‘reserve’ status. AltsAlt Characters of guild members. All alts will be of the same rank. An alt may be requested by the Raid Leaders for situational purposes. TrialsNew members of the guild, being evaluated for entry into the Reserve rank. Evaluation lasts two weeks, and ends with either promotion or termination. (Note: Friends and family can be immediately promoted to Reserve rank.) RetireesSome of our favorite members who needed a break from the game for a myriad of reasons; we keep them in this rank to show them they are welcome when they return. When a retiree returns they are granted reserve rank.
